An SEM image of an ultra-thin silicon chip with gold beam leads. The silicon chip is 800um long and 76um wide. Including the gold beam leads, the total chip length is around 1.2mm. Chip thickness is around 2um. The 2.5um thick gold beam leads are ridgid enough to be handled with fine tweezers. |
