Background:
Dave
Houseman is VP for Education Management Solutions, a company
that provides clinical skills training and assessment systems
for medical and nursing schools.
Previously, David worked for Unisys Corporation as VP and
CTO for the Systems and Technology Group, and for almost 30
years as an engineer developing mainframe computers and has
held a variety of engineering and management positions. He
has led a number of software and hardware organizations, including
the group responsible for developing Unisys. A Series and
ClearPath hardware and software, the Telephony Products Group,
responsible for Unisys voice messaging products and led the
development of the Unisys Common Platform and the Unisys ES7000
line of Intel servers. David is also responsible for internal
technology assessments and new technology business ventures.
Additionally, his organization drives system architecture
and relationships with Unisys key technology partners.
David holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University
of Virginia in 1971 and an M.S.E.E. from the University of
Florida in 1972.
